This Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal data when you visit hostkeplo.com or use our Services. For personal data we process on behalf of customers (data in hosted sites, mailboxes, etc.), our role is processor and the DPA applies.
1. Data we collect
- Account & billing data: name, email, company, address, and payment details (processed by our payment provider).
- Usage & technical data: IP address, browser/device info, pages visited, and log data, including via cookies/analytics.
- Support data: information you provide when contacting us.
- Marketing data: email address if you subscribe.

3. Cookies
We use necessary cookies to run the site and, with your consent where required, analytics cookies to understand usage. You can control cookies via your browser and, where shown, our cookie banner.
4. Sharing
We share personal data only with: (a) sub-processors that help us deliver the Services (e.g. data-center/IaaS provider, payment provider) under appropriate agreements; (b) authorities where legally required. We do not sell personal data.
5. International transfers
Personal data is processed primarily in the EU/EEA. Where a transfer outside the EEA occurs (e.g. a US-based payment provider), we rely on an appropriate safeguard such as an adequacy decision or Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. Retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above or as required by law (e.g. accounting records). Customer Content is handled per the Terms and DPA.
7. Your rights (EU/EEA — GDPR)
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these, contact hello@hostkeplo.com. You may also lodge a complaint with a competent EU/EEA supervisory authority (your local data-protection authority); EU users may also contact our EU representative once appointed (see below).
8. Your rights (California — CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know, access, delete, and correct your personal information, and to opt out of "sale"/"sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CPRA. You will not be discriminated against for exercising your rights. To make a request, contact hello@hostkeplo.com. We will verify your request and respond within the timeframes required by law.

In the past 12 months we may have collected: identifiers (name, email, IP), commercial information (purchases), internet activity (usage/log data), and geolocation (approximate, from IP). Sources, purposes, and disclosures are described in Sections 1–4.
9. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data (see the DPA security annex). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
10. Children
The Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
11. Changes
We may update this Policy and will post the new version with an updated date. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
